* 2007 SET (Simulated Emergency Test) Drill *

Thanks to the following O'Hara E-Comm Team members that pitched in:

W3YJ (Harry) - NCS and APRS
AA3ZN (Larry)- NCS, APRS and Tone63 data
KB3OGN (John) - NCS and Tone63 data at Saint Margarets
NA0B (Juan) - Phone, APRS and Tone63 data at Parkview VFD
N3YP (Pres)- Phone and Tone63 data at Saint Margarets

Also, checked in to the net from our team were:

KB3NSH
KB3EYY

The drill went very well and the ARMS server got a BIG-TIME workout and performed flawlessly. Our scenario was a major ice storm combined with a mass casualty tour bus crash on Rt. 28 which necessitated coordination between O'Hara EMA, St. Margarets and our shelter location at the Parkview VFD.

Saint Margarets hospital opened up the employee parking lot for N3YP and KB3OGN to set up their field station. An official from the hospital observed Pres and John through the entire drill and was quite impressed with our capabilities.

We sent a ton of data during the drill, the amount of which we wouldn't have had the time to handle during our 1 hour time slot by voice. Here is a link to the Tone63 data that was sent during the drill:

In addition to phone and Tone63 data, Juan, Harry and Larry were running APRS. Juan and Harry had the opportunity to test APRS text messaging (successfully) between their two stations. I also sent 4 formal ARRL/NTS messages up to the WPA Phone and Traffic net on 3.983 MHz.

Thanks again to all who helped during the drill.
