PA-Sit-Rep is a free communications tool that will enable you to monitor major emergency situations throughout the State of Pennsylvania including, but not limited to, weather emergencies, natural disasters, environmental disasters, civil disturbances, threats and acts of terrorism, major fires and manhunts.

It would be HIGHLY advisable to verify major emergency situations by tuning to TV, Broadcast Radio or your local Amateur Radio Emergency Communications nets for verification of any emergency situation report posted to the list.

PA-SitRep is a free subscriber based e-mail list devoted to keeping all list members informed on MAJOR Emergency Situations throughout the State of Pennsylvania. The list is extremely low volume because messages to the list are limited to only those containing verified emergency situation reports of Major Import within the State of Pennsylvania.

The list is run from a private server at my expense, so there are no advertisements necessary or permitted. Rumors, hearsay, unconfirmed and or inaccurate reports and chat are strictly prohibited.

Subscribers do not have to be members of any specific emergency services organizations to join the PA-SitRep mailing list.


The PA-SitRep Statewide Mail list has been up and running since 08:00 August 27, 2001. We're well over 600 subscribers and we'd like that number to reach 1,000 + so please help us spread the word and join today!
